A Virtual Design System With Voice Interaction

In this paper, interaction technologies used in a virtual design system are studied and the advantages of using speech interface are discussed. Then the speech technology is introduced into a virtual design system, and a virtual design system with voice interaction is designed and realized.The system is based on B/S architecture,using ASP to generate the virtual scene. Because of the limited application fields of the system, another solution which realize the communication between the speech platform and the virtual scene is proposed, and the key technologies are expatiated.The two solutions are mutually complementary,which can satisfy the demand of different application fields.At the end of the paper, aiming at a specific field, namely the field of interior design, an example of design is given. So the feasibility of the solution is verified.
