With the improvement of people's life, people take great attention to home's safety and the real image of home is needed anytime .So the wireless image captured and transferred system is researched and designed. The system is a embedded system, and capturing image ,compressing image and transferring image are its main functions .The operating system running on the system is UCOS and the AT91R40008 is selected as MCU chip which bases on ARM7TDMI .The CMOS image sensor OV7640 captures image which is compressed by AT91R40008 and the AT91R40008's work frequency is 50MHZ.At last, the image is transferred by GPRS module GR47 to the remote computer.MCU chip AT91R40008 has more internal RAM than many other ARM chip.and the internal RAM is 256K bytes . So the external RAM isn't needed which makes the structure simpler .CMOS image sensor OV7640 exchange data with MCU chip by SCCB. GPRS module GR47 has embeded TCP/IP protocol stack which make the system TCP/IP application easy. The GPRS network is selected as the system wireless data transferring method. The GPRS network has more advantages than other present wireless data transferring methods, such as transferring farther, transferring muchmore data, the higher speed, the lower cost and always online.
