Data Cleansing is a method that improving quality of the data .With othercompany,The require of enterprise for going information age is more eager Up to now,the data management is the one most important aspect.On the base on garbage in,garbage out theory,for support the correct decision,that is required the data ofmanagement has no errors,can reflect the fact.So,more attention is paid on datamanagement.More and more people realize the importance of the data cleansing. Thepaper discusses the data quality management from data cleansing. This paper is composed of the following parts:the theory of data cleansing,theapplication of XML on data cleansing,the design of data cleansing for Zhenghong websystem,the examples of data cleansing on Zhenghong web system. This paper has finished the tasks that it has summarized the data cleansing,including a few models;analyze the privilege of XML on data cleansing;propose a datacleansing model for web system;discuss the application of distance function on matchingrecords.On bases of the former work,we cleansing the Zhenghong web system. Data cleansing is the work that has very strong relation with specific fields,theresearchers has not propose any universal data cleansing model,more attention would bepay on universal data cleansing model.For the cleansing on the web data, people proposeda theory of the key for XML, We can believe that theory would be improve the datacleansing for web data, just like the influence of key in Relational database.
