With the development of information, networks and IC technology, the direction of development of embedded system is multimedia and networks, especially, combination of Internet or wireless networks; also, anther trend is the development of embedded system based on knowledge .It is convenient for people to enjoy the pleasure of life anytime and anywhere. 'Embedded System + Internet' have been the feature of the time of 'post-PC'.On the chance of the development of networks based on embedded system, this thesis discuss the thought of the design of embedded system, in the background of reconstruction of network in the industry control system. Moreover, a test platform of embedded system based on DSP is designed. It is necessary to discuss the appliance problems such as the software and hardware design of embedded system, the technology of connection of networks.In the project, the test board as a hardware platform is designed with TMS320LF2407 mainstream DSP as its microcontroller and integrated with SCI, CAN, Ethernet interface, which are used frequently in the industry control system. The scheme and method of the hardware design of every function module is introduced in the thesis detailedly.In terms of software design, most work is done to replant and re-develop the open-code μC/OS II as RTOS and LwIP as the embedded TCP/IP stack. It is useful to research and develop embedded system. In this thesis, the experience in replanting μC/OS II and LwIP to DSP is presented, and the thought and method of the design of service driver program is provided, moreover, some examples is given to illustrate the implementation of the task of SCI communication in μC/OS II and implementation of the LwIP TCP/IP stack with its API functions. All of these efforts have prepared to discuss farther problems such as: the function expansion for RTOS, the connection and conversion between different networks and different protocols, the implementation of Web server, etc.
