Recently, mobile communication has been developed rapidly all around the world. The 3rd generation mobile communication system has been gradually run into use, but it can't meet users' growing needs in the future, therefore it is necessary to study out a new set of high-speed mobile communication technology which can support asymmetry service, wide-band multimedia service, internet service and integrated service. According to the research of new generation cellular mobile communication system of 863 Future Project and the evolution of recent research and development around the world, National Communication Research Laboratory (NCRL) of Southeast University is investigating Generalized Multi-Carrier Time Division Duplex x-Division Multiple Access (GMC-TDD-xDMA) cellular mobile communication transmission technique to fulfill the high efficient packet data transmission with peak data rate not less than 20Mbps.In this dissertation, we have a general study and discussion on the Medium Access Control and various services integration method based on the GMC-TDD-xDMA physical transmission technology. At the same time, we also give a detailed description on the hardware implementation of the above function in such a demo system aimed at testing and verifying the technology. We have also developed some programs in order to verifying the related functionality of this hardware platform, which is a necessary basis toward further study and development.
