XML Security Middleware

Along with the wildly use of the Internet and the development of the technique of computer and communications, more and more corporations and governments become to use E-commerce in their day life. Under this enviroment, the techniques of middleware and XML have been great developed and widely use. The emergence of middleware has deeply simplified the applied development in business enterprise. And XML is the major supporter of Internet and recently the Web service which keep on increasing. Because the good construction in file and the self-descriptional ability of XML, more and more company use it as the mode when they deliver information on network.In according to the Web service of the E-commerce, the safety must be on the top of agenda. The Security Middleware provide safe framework for the informational commutation of E-commerce. At persent, encrypting a complete XML document, testing its integrity, and confriming the authenticity of its sender is the same as any other types of document, which is a straightforward process. But it is increasingly necessary to use these functions on parts of documents,to involve different users or originators.This thesis study the combination of XML and middleware under the current the environments of Internet. Furthermore, we lucubrate thetechniques of encryption and decryption, digital signature, authorization, authentication and related techniques in etc.. On this foundation, we design and realizes a XML Security Middleware using VS. NET which has good supports for XML. The system can operate any parts of the XML documents, and to encrypt and authenticate in arbitrary sequences.
