GPIB bus interface is one of the commonly used measurement meter standard configures which are often used in the wireless systems. It is a kind of standard industrial control bus applied to link many measurement meters and measurement computers.Based on the GPIB the wireless automation measurement system is designed according to the practical need of the wireless management and wireless measurement. Comparing with the traditional manual wireless equipment measurement its interface, is more intuitionistic, its operation is simpler and its maintenance is more convenient, able to deal with the measured spot data flexibly.The design of the soft wares and hard wares based on the GPIB the wireless automation measurement system are studied in this paper and the practical needs of the wireless management and wireless measurement. The hardware designs are linked based on the linking requirement to the measurement meters and the measured equipment of the State Wireless Supervising Center and on measurement meters the GPIB the wireless automation measurement system. And the software design used the advanced computer language VISUAL BASIC, deploying modularization design idea to design the programs which consist three parts: parameter setting, measurement, result disposing. The flows and function of subprograms were presented in details and software flow charts were given out, meeting the requirement of the system.With the increasing requirement of wireless technique parameter automation measurement, all kinds of the wireless automation measurement systems will be more and more abundant and perfect.
