Digital watermarking is the most important branch of information hiding, which has been the hotspot of international academia. Invisible digital watermarking has been proposed as a solution for discouraging illicit copying and distribution of copyright media. To protect the copyright of digital media by adopting the technique of digital watermarking based on Human Beings Visual System (HVS), a fundamental tradeoff must be made between robustness, invisibility and capacity. It is critical for strong copyright protection to propose a high performance approach of digital watermarking. The research achievements of this dissertation focus on three aspects as followings:Analyzed four models of HVS used in the technique of digital watermarking, studied on the requirements, algorithms, and the realization method of digital watermarking used for copyright protection. Gave out the calculate methods of Just Noticeable Difference (JND), Contract Sensitive Function (CSF) in the model of HVS and Noise Visibility Funstion (NVF).Proposed the idea of studying the technique of digital watermarking used for copyright protection on the spatial domain by adopting the model of Markov Random Field (MRF) based on HVS. In recent years it has been recognized that embedding information in a transform domain leads to more robust watermarking, but research from the viewpoint of spatial domain can meet the requirements of HVS, by applying the method of transform domain for realization, the proposed approach can improve the robustness and invisibility of digital watermarking maximum.Constructed the model of HVS based on the model of MRF, proposed the realization algorithms of digital watermarking for copyright protection by adopting Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) and Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT). Experiments and results analysis shows that the digital watermarking generated using the approach is superior to other formers in the performance of robustness, invisibility, security, and capacity.
