The technology of DSP is being applied to much field, such as communication technology, electronics technology, computer technology and signal processing, etc. There is very important significance to improve the oil logging system with the technology of DSP. On the basis of researching the development of domastic oil logging instruments, a universal acquisition and processing system for logging signal based on DSP is presented in this paper. On the core of DSP, the system realizes acquisition and processing of various kinds of logging signal, which is of great practice to the actuality of hardware means being prevailing in the oil logging. There is detailed theory analysis on neutral network,wavelet analysis and FIR filter in this paper and they are applied to process corresponding logging signal.In order to confirm the feasibility of these algorithms, the hardware platform of universal acquisition and processing system for logging signal is designed, in which, DSP is used to process signal, the ADC of AD1671 is used to acquire signal and FPGA is used to realize control logic of the total system. The system software programs using C5000 DSP assembly language and debugs with CCS 5000 to realize all the signal processing algorithms above.The results of experiment on several logging signal based on the designed system shows that the processing of corresponding signal with the algorithm presented is good, and the system can effectively achieve the desired function. At the same time, the results demonstrate the designed system is practicable.
