Research And Reality Of Software Radio System

With the development of computer, microelectronics and automatic control technology, great changes have taken place in the communication field. The rapid development of communication technology, on one hand makes the life cycle of communication products short, which is followed by the rise of development expenses, on the other hand results in the coexistence of new and old communication system, between which the communication is more complicated and difficult. Software radio is put forward in such occasions, and show its fascinating functions in both commercial and military wireless communication because of its specialties, such as flexibility and commonability.This paper is written after consulting material extensively in order to research and develop software-defined radio. In this paper, the basic conception and development of software-defined radio as well as its specialties are discussed. Having stated the theoretical foundation of the software-defined radio, this text carries on introduction of key technologies. After analyzing and comparing several kinds of software radio architecture, and considering the development of chips, the architecture that the subject adopted is decided. According what is discussed above, the software radio system is designed. After debugging the hardware and software in this platform, the experiment results which make prove to the correctness and feasibility of the design are given out in the end of this paper.
