The Research Of Improvement On Call Forwarding Services By Intelligent Network Technology

With the rapid development of the economic and the increasing of people's living standard, the telephone is playing more and more important role in our daily life. People are requiring more kinds of telecommunication services and better quality. Call forwarding is a supplementary service based on traditional telecommunication services. It can provide convenience to the users. And it has many limitations too at the same time. Intelligent network brings revolution to the traditional services and created more and more new value-added services.The IN described in this thesis adopts ETSI CS1 standard. It is providing call forwarding, free phone service, calling card, prepaid services etc. to customers in China, Poland, Netherlands, Spain and other 10 more countries and areas. With an example of improving Call Forwarding services with IN technology, this thesis introduces the concept of IN, how IN is working in traditional telecommunication areas, and how to realize services with IN operations.The main point of this thesis is on how to improve telecommunication services with IN technology, how to make it more convenient to create new features and services. By comparing the differences between IN and the traditional technology in concept and the way to realize, this thesis tells the advantage of IN. And it tells how to use Finite State Machine method to make it more convenient.
