Study On Security And Multi-Mode Payment System

With the development of Information Technology, there are many conveniences for people. As an example, the e-commence provides people the convenient purchasing mode. At present, the e-payment system is single in payment mode, and does not combine diversified payment mode effectively. There are also many deficiencies in security of the payment system. The paper studies on the e-payment system aiming at these problems. The work of the paper is based on the project of "Multi-channel Secure Payment System Based on SPKI" by Chongqing Science Committee. The main task is that aiming at the problems of e-payment mode based on credit card and e-cash, analyses the characteristics and the requirement of the two payment mode, and designs a secure and multi-mode payment system which combines various payment modes as well as satisfies the secure requirement of e-payment. The payment system the paper designs has these characteristics comparing to the traditional payment system:â‘  Combining various payment modes. The secure and multi-mode payment system combines the payment based on credit card and e-cash. The combination is not a simple mode, but to design the uniform data form according to the requirement of the two. It really realizes the multi-mode payment system which provides people more conveniences. The customers may select different payment mode according to their own requirements.â‘¡ Better security. The system imports the SPKI mechanism, which makes the design of the system more flexible. At the same time, because of the characteristic of SPKI, the problem of anonymity which other payment systems can not meet with well may be solved through the authorization certificate. The design of the system also uses the technology of information network security and the theory of the cryptogram.Firstly the paper introduces the deficiency of the traditional payment systems and the inadequate research on the multi-mode payment system, and sets forth the significance of the task. Secondly the paper design the system architecture, the function modules, operation flow and the uniform data form as a whole. Thirdly the paper emphasizes on the detailed design of function modules and payment protocol. It shows the strongpoint of the system and introduces the implement. Lastly the paper analyses the performance according to the security and the diversity of the system.
