Study On The Key Technique Issues Of The Oil & Gas Storage And Transportation Multi-Management System

The current status of IT applying in the production and management of oil & gas industry is separated and decentralized. The urgent affairs of Oil and Gas Companies are to integrate all of the taches on the whole supply chain to save cost and improve performance. The efficient solution is to develop multi-management system with flexible extensibility based on Intranet, Extranet and Internet.The following strategies in software development mode, software development environment, software development method and security management are put forward to protect existing IT investment of enterprise, shorten the software development cycle, reduce the cost of software development, decrease the difficulty of software maintenance, improve software quality and achieve rational security goal.1) The integrative model of C/S and B/S is presented so as to take advantage of the powerful enterprise transaction of C/S and the cross platform support of B/S. Thus the system can obtain better openness, extensibility, portability and usability.2) The principle of development environment selection is presented. According to that principle the development environment of this software system is choosed.3) The strategies of mapping objects to relational tables are presented. It smooths the way for applications involved with relational database to be analyzed and designed with object-oriented method. It also has the value of being made into mapping tools.4) A set of security management strategy for the integrative model of C/S and B/S is established by integrating session tracking of B/S with RBAC and security audit of C/S.To implement these strategies, some key technique issues in this software system are solved and list as below.1) Not only to embed PB window plugins in HTML file but also to transfer variables between ASP and PB are implemented through programming. The problem of communications control between C/S and B/S is solved successfully. Thus the existing C/S applications can be migrated to Web facilely.2) The automatic generation of the extensible framework of multi-management system is an original technique that makes the menu structure and functions can be customized according to the changing of the enterprise transactions or the difference of the user roles. It solves the problems of function extension and security control.The implementation result of the Oil & Gas Storage and Transportation Multi-Management System is given to prove those strategies and techniques.
