In traditional tourism, a human cicerone had to repeatedly introduce information to visitors a great many times every day. It did not usually satisfy every one of crowded visitors, particularly for foreigners. To promote it more effective and improve the quality of service of tourism more superior, an electronic device is development to be an automatic cicerone in place of human. The digital wireless intelligent cicerone combines voice-compressed technology, digital storage technology, wireless transmission, digital coding and the technology of area identification. Some corporations are developing the civil cheaper wireless short-distance area identification, while there are still some problems with those products that can not be handled very well, for instance, interrupting from adjacent transmitters, no auto-power control, and manual choice of receiving channel.Based on a project of digital wireless intelligent cicerone, the dissertation focuses on the key technique of embedded wireless short-distance area identification. It is less power consumptive, characteristic and intelligent, high-level voice and convenient.For automatic short-distance area identification, the technology of power control is applied in this dissertation. According need of a system, a set or several sets of transmitter will be set up at specific places. The mobile terminal in visitors' hands includes two parts: a receiver and an audio player. As soon as visitors access a special area, a visitor can be auto detected area where he is by area-code information acquired from the transmitter, without interrupting from adjacent ones. After auto-identification, the player can auto play or switch the corresponding commentary of this area, according received commands. In addition, a visitor can choose the language if he like, since it is a multilingual system. The key is to improve the accuracy and definition of short-distance area identification.The main points of this dissertation contain several parts as follows:First, design a reasonable wireless short-distance area identification model. In order to develop the accuracy of identification, two level identification and algorithm of switch with two thresholds. In this mode, data are transferred in single way, further more; communication protocol is designed for this mode.In the following part, the circuits' design of CC1000 and its peripherals, system and its interfaces are illuminated. Circuits of Signal processing and identification based on microcontroller and that of transmission and receive part are integrated together. Thenbased on the system mode and hardware, the DSP program structure is introduced, and the flow chat of transmission and receive mode of system, cycle-redundancy-check (CRC) part with polynomial used CRC-16, setup of CC1000 and area identification part are emphasized. Test results show that the algorithms perform well. At last, the PCB is layed out and all programs are downloaded to PCB, the present work shows that the system can efficiently complete wireless short-distance area identification.The theoretical results of this dissertation have bee successfully applied in the research of digital wireless intelligent guider at Dazu Carved-stone. It also puts forward a practically feasible approach the accurate short-distance area identification and rapid automatic switch.
