Research Of Real-Time Speech Performance

In the network, it is always regarded as one of importance research task which is real-time transmission of speech on network. In this paper, we have introduced mode of speech and numeric coding of speech and reasons of network delay. According reasons of network delay, we have advanced two means for inducing network delay. In speech sender, we optimize coding arithmetic of ITU G.723 through its math mode, so that we induce coding delay in speech sender. In speech receiver, we advance a new arithmetic which is On-line adaptive algorithm based on past history. We have made an experiment on this arithmetic to verify performance of our new arithmetic. Through above two means, we can optimize performance of real-time speech.
