The Research On XML Signature And Encryption Technology

As the electronic commerce is growing rapidly, more and more companies make use of the XML technique in the electronic commerce activity to transmit structured data.The research of the data security becomes increasingly important. The structured data was storeed in the XML document.The signature and encryption for this data can protect the its security as well as have high flexibility. Signature and encryption can guarantee the data's Confidentiality, Integrity , Authentication and Nonrepudiability.XML signature and encryption have more flexibility. It object not only can be a complete XML document , but also can be a part of it . Firstly, this paper introduces the XML technology , the principle of signature and encryption ,PKI and JCA (Java cryptography architecture). Secondly discusses the model of XML signature and encryption to sign and encrypt the element of the XML document .Finally,this paper introduces the Java implementation of the XML signature and the XML encryption,designed by the author.
