Design Of Train Odometer Management System Based On GPS

This thesis aims to research a new measure method that is used by odometer management system. The method is based on GPS system. At present, the measure method mostly depends on manual estimation, rather than GPS system.This thesis narrates how to design an aptitude odometer, which is realized by mileage data collection based on GPS system and data management in network with network communication controller WebChip? and presents the project in detail. In addition, the System can realize the intelligent operation by making full use of the advanced database management functions, such as saving, maintenance, analysis and search of the records collected.In this thesis, I make three contributions as follows. Firstly, the new method is realized by aptitude odometer based on GPS technology. Secondly, an memory arrangement and management for data flow is successfully studied by RS-485 bus communication. Thirdly, database software is designed and put forward.
