Nowadays, the Virtual Enterprise(VE) is a new rising organization form and is considered to be one of the most promising paradigms for future enterprises. Each member of VE will contribute primarily what it regards as its core competencies, so that the competition of VE can be enhanced greatly in global markets. Just because of this, the management ideas and information technologies in VE are becoming the research hotspot in network business. Many researches are focused on the VE's architecture and its security technologies in this dissertation, such as the dynamic reconstruction , reengineering and scalability of architecture; trusted interaction and resource access controls among members in the dynamic environment of VE;the fast encryption and hash algorithms for magnanimity data in VE.The main researches accomplished in this thesis are as follows:1. Designs an abstract Multi-Agent System (MAS) using domain division approach and gives the inner structure of main agents. Then an agent-based workflow system is also presented, in which many heterogenous applications are encapsulated and invoked by web service to resolve the dynamic, loosely coupled, autonomous problems of VE.2. A new authentication scheme named Virtual Enterprise Certificate Authority (VECA) is proposed, in which the technologies of secret sharing, threshold signature and dynamic Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) are employed. This scheme can efficiently establish the trusted relationships among dynamic partners.3. On the basis of VECA, a double-certificate model is presented, in which Public Key Certificate (PKC) and Role based Attribute Certificate (RAC) are combined to solve the problems of identity authentication and access control in VE.4. Designs a fast chaotic hash algorithm and a fast chaotic stream encryption algorithm for the security requirments of magnanimity data in VE. Research results show that they have excellent properties.5. A smallest prototype of VE Information System (VEIS) is builtand partly implemented in a distributed material management system, which has run successfully for more than one year.
