With the development of computer technique , especially the application and popularization of Database technique , it is impossible to get valuable information from the great sea of information only by common mathematical approach and calculation method. To be more effectively getting knowledge from these sea of data, Data Mining Approach is developed accordingly .The subject is just studied under this background.Powder Science , also called Particle Science , is a new , transdisciplinary and compreheniwe technique Since the 1980s , it has become a hot recearching subject, with the development of materials of micro-metre and super-fine particle . Many abstract models , however , have to be checled in experiments . The Statistical Approach, adopted in Data Mining technique, verified that it was right in the abstract model of Noneball particle's sinking speed , in which the MATLAB Soft ware were used . The main contents include as follows :selection of experimental data , estallishment of the model of multiple Linear Reversion equation , precise Analysis of model , determination of the best, model and confirmation of model . Finally , the planning project was proved right through an example , and its result of mining was basically corresporded to the abstract model.
