The streaming media has been widely used on the Internet. Recently, its application on the lecture and training in the commercial field becomes a new concern. In order to seek new business value added point, Xinxin Color Printing Co., Ltd decides to provide free open audio and video on-demanded service of lectures and training and to set up the VOD system with strong expandability on the original website.Depending on Internet, the design of the system aims to provide open VOD and live broadcast service with simple manipulation and convenient maintenance and management and expand the brand benefit of enterprise through making full use of the streaming technology and RealSystem stream processing technology and the mature quick ASP+Access technology.This paper first discusses the key technology in developing the system, including the encoding technology of media file, the protocol of streaming content transmission and the realtime/non-realtime streaming technology. Secondly, it introduces the integrated synchronization technique桽MIL language; analyzes the working mechanism and system framework and software & hardware configuration tactics of RealSystem VOD system based on Internet. Finally, it put forwards the general analysis and system implementation of the VOD system.The VOD system includes VOD management system, streaming media manufacturing system and streaming video browsing system. The paper analyzes and discusses their structures, functions and methods of realization in detail.In the part of the VOD management system, it mainly analyzes the structure and logical function of VOD management system and discusses the realization methods of movie and television browsing sub module based on ASP+Access.This paper emphasizes the capture, encoding and distribution of streaming audio and video in the part of streaming media manufacturing system. The main contents include: the installation of RealServer and the connection control of the server, VOD mount point and IP address limitation; the analysis of capture course of the video contents from the video capture card; the encoding plans based on different video contents and the SureStream tactics aiming to different kind ofaudiences; the implementation plans of VOD and live broadcast (realtime and non-realtime live broadcast) and the realtime play of text stream; the methods of utilizing SMIL integration and finishing synchronous outflow by various formats of media; various methods of publishing streaming media on the web and the realization mechanism of utilizing ASP to create .prm and .smil files based on browser.In the part of video browsing system, it mainly introduces its functions, structure of the interface and methods of application.After the system was finished, it was operated firstly in the Intranet. It was proved that the anticipated objects of the audio and video on-demanded, realtime and non-realtime live broadcast, synchronous release of video dub, explanations of captions and the advertisement of the company, as well as stable operation of the system and convenient management of the contents was realized. |
