Central Information System (CIS) is one item of content of DIGITAL CAMPUS project, the system provides three basic functions including data integrator, data exchanger , and data publisher. The origins of CIS are sub systems (Administration Information System) , they are managed according to a new one criterion in CIS, and is the base of further treatment . emphases of this paper include how to synchronize sub systems and CIS and the structure of information publisher.Because of heterogeneous attribute it is hard to realize synchronization of CIS and sub systems. we adopt the solution based on the DB2 II ( Information Integrator ) in this paper. We can commit transparent access of heterogeneous databases with federal database technology on DB2 II.Replication of heterogeneous data sources can made a database in CIS as a medium to transfer change in sub systems to CIS. further more , the trigger on the tables in medium database identify and extract the change , according to router information, modify CIS, and this is the end of synchronization form sub system to CIS. Compared with the process form sub system to CIS , the synchronization form CIS to sub system is different in course of trigger, which conduct direct access in mapping tables of sub system.In order to adapt to change of information in CIS, the emphases of the design of comprehensive query system is on structure . its driver is based on table which contain the basic elements needed by process of query, thus the system is more easy in maintenance and in expanding.
