In this thesis , the author firstly introduces the realtime Embedded OS ( RealTime Operating System) . By interpreting some mechanisms such as Task Schedule, Process Management , We discuss OS feathers in details. Secondly, we learn WAP stack layer architecture, and probe into protocol stack ; At last , according system features and requirement , we design middleware porting the Wap Client into OS platform, and make communication between the wap client and OS possible.The application development is based on the Sysol2 solution which was provided by the Philip. This solution uses RTOS as core, flash as the storage medium, and mobile hardware as basement to implement wireless communication' s complex control and form kindly user interface. The developer can work on the Linux platform , download the image file into the developing board by series port , and finally realize application development.Trying to deeply analyse the system' s characteristics, the author exhaustively design function module design scheme, and successfully perform handset several function such as logging in net , downloading pictures, melody and Java application and so on.By validation testing and careful maintenance, the application can run on the platform robustly and efficiently.
