| The key task of developing GIS is spatial information processing. But with thedevelopment of data gathering technique, spatial information data increase at blow-upspeed whereas the present data-processing speed is far lagged off. Thus, the fastutilization of mass spatial information becomes significant. Based on summarizing diversities of spatial information, this paper implementspyramidal data structure of DOM with multi-dimension and derived dimension models.Along with these data models, this paper gives the discussion about synthesizedvisualization technologies of multi-dimension and multi-resolution spatial information,including fast searching, fast visualization and its optimization. Finally the"MDMR-GIS" system is presented, which makes a good performance in large-scalefundamental geographic information of Shenzhen city.
