SyntheticAperture Radar (SAR) extends the conception of the traditional radar. Its high resolution in range is fulfilled by using pulse compression method. Its highresolution in azimuth is achieved by utilizing the Doppler information among thesignals received by SAR at different locations. Hence, the acquired image of the targetsis of very high resolution. The imaging and identification of the targets can beaccomplished by SAR no matter what weather and what time. It is of extensive use inmilitary and civil affairs. So the study of the method of jamming is of absolutelynecessity. Firstly, the principles and the algorithms of imaging of the SAR is brieflyintroduced in this paper. On the basis of these, some kinds of methods of jamming areinducted. Secondly, Several rules of measuring the effect of the jamming are offered inallusion to these jamming methods. Thirdly the simulation of these methods is provided. Then the study and the comparison of the jamming effect of these methods are supplied. In the final, a new method of jamming is brought forward.
