| With the Internet/Intranet development and more mature of the database technology, it's the imminence request for the university reform and development that realizing teaching of crossing time & location, and studying by students. By consulting the experience of domestic current local remote teaching, and international forerunner system of large remote teaching, the computer remote teaching system is designed in the discourse.First, the WEB database development process is discussed in the discourse: the popular Client/Server mode is developed from the host/terminal mode, and now develops to Browser/Server mode. The result of discussion is the united browser interface is used in the machine using B/S mode. It's operated easily, realized the connection of different network. So B/S mode is accepted in the remote teaching system. Furthermore, five kinds of methods are discussed: two way are used for offering interfere in Web server: CGI & API. CGI's efficiency is low, its speed is slow. API overcome CGI's weakness, but compatibility is not very good, it's difficult for compiling. The result is that using the ASP technique is easily to realize. The way by accessing database through combining ASP & ADO is discussed in the discourse. The consult is that: the essential of accessing database through combining ASP & ADO is accessing database by ADO object. New technique, ASP .NET, is compared with ASP.The computer remote teaching system based on B/S mode is realized by combining ASP technique and Web database. It has functions such as study through net, up homework, on-line answer questions, read homework, etc. It has two sub-systems: management sub-system for teachers and study sub-system for students. It improves the system's safety. The successfully realization has more important significance for university teaching level. Application enunciation: the interfere is amity, operate conveniently, the efficiency is improved, the net teaching is realized, the good teaching terrace is provided.
