From the beginning of 1990s to now, the middleware technique have become gradually mature, and led to the appearance of the product of different level of structure and different class. The message-oriented middleware(MOM) is a middleware of the most basic and the earliest research in these middleware product. Usually MOM is divided into two class, The first kind is the MOM of based on Java Message Service( JMS) ,which accord to the newly arising technique, another kind belong to the MOM of traditional class, the application system of the MOM of the two different class can't go on operate-mutual and share with resources for they have no an interface of standard-united.The concept of JMS message agent is brought up in the thesis According to the above, and the message agent middleware of based on JMS (JMSMAM) is designed. It not only solve the obstacle to correspond between the MOM of the two different class, but alsoprovide the technique support of JMS for the MOM of traditionalclass. The correspondence principle and message format of the MOM of the two different class are introduced ,for JMS Provider and IBM MQSeries example in the thesis. The architecture of JMSMAM is brought up on the base of referencing the architecture of the MOM of traditional class. The thesis not only achieve the important function-mechanism of the architecture of JMSMAM, but also introduce the technique-achievement of the main part of JMSMAM.In the test of JMSMAM, JMSMAM is tested by the data of LDNET adopted. Then the reliability, stability and real time performance are analysed according to the test data.
