Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is considered as a modulation technology or a multiplexing technology. It's an efficient way to transmit data in parellel using multi-carriers. With the rapid growth of Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) technology and computer technology, DSP has also been used in communication areas more and more widely. Whether it could bring great performance in communication system with the two advanced technologies integrating with each other, and how to dig out their potential to the best to better performance of system on the basis of improving performance?Around the research purposes above closely, the characters of OFDM and DSP are analyzed, and an in-depth study are done on many key technologies in communication system that includes these two technologies in this paper. Based on all the factors well comprehended that involve in basic implementation of system, the performance of the system are simulated using Matlab tool and good performance are proved in the paper. Provided with the guarantees in theory, design theme of system based on DSP is put forward and its tests are finished at last in this paper.The arising of this task is accordant with general trend in present research, and guarantees the characters of science and economy. The study makes us not only accumulate some scientific experiences, understand and grasp so many key technologies in communication realization from the point of theory and practice, but also know well about how to make use of a specific tool to realize advanced communication system, which will make us avoid similar mistakes efficiently in the future work under the correct direction.
