The Application Of Rough Set Theory In Association Rules Mining

DATA MINING is a focus of present computer scientific research, and the association rules mining is the important branch of one of them. How to find the useful rules that people interested in in data base of magnanimity, as to science decision, assigning resource rationally , raising working efficiency have a great meaning.In the process of researching the foundation topic of JiangXi naturalscience-"The reseach and realization of data mining system model",This thesis focuses on this sub subject how to mine association rules in the data base. through further investigation of APRIRIO algorithm, proposes other stretching algorithms of this one applicated in rules mining, and studied the rough set theory that Polish mathematician Z. Pawlak put forward emphatically, on the basis of this theory, proposes several algorithms in association rules mining.This thesis divided into three chapters altogether: Chapter one, introduces basic conceptions of data mining and the backgroung of this thesis; Chapter two, introduces the basic principle of rough set, knowledge reduction and dependence , desicion table ; Chapter three, discusses the application of APRIRIO algorithm in data mining first, then the rough set theory and several algorithms of this theory in association rules mining, finally gives the algorithm of default rules mining based on rough set.
