The Research Of Mining Rules Based On Rough Set Theory

Now,data mining is a promising and flourishing frontier in database systems,and association rule is an important knowledge pattern which data mining can find . That mining the interested and useful rules from tremendous information databases is very important and significant for people making decision in aspects of living and producing .In the process of researching the foundation topic of JiangXi natural science - "The research and realization of data mining system model",this thesis focus on the foundation topic's sub-subject that how to mine association rules in database . Based on my study and inheritance of many experts and schorlars (especially the PoLand mathematician Z.Pawlak's Rough Set),this thesis propounded an association rule mining method based on rough set . The core of rough set is classfication and knowledge reduction,and this thesis focus on how to apply the techniques of classfication and reduction to the rules mining .This thesis divided into five chapters:first chapter is introduction which describes the concepts of data mining and background of this thesis;second chapter simply introduces the current facts in mining association rules and presents some my opinions;third chapter describes the rough set's concepts because rough set is the theory base of this thesis;fourth chapter propounds some steps of association rule mining method based on rough set,and gives algorithms for main steps such as the attribute .reduction,rule reduction and so on;fifth chapter presents the whole procedure of association rules mining based on rough set with one instance .
