Research And Development Of J2EE Application Based On MVC

With the development of computer science technology, computer has been applied to more and more fields. More and more research units and institutes use all kinds of management systems on scientific research. But most of these systems developed under Windows OS are stand-alone software using different database, therefore they have many shortcomings such as poor transportability, working inefficiency, bad scalability, bad maintainability, and etc. It's urgent need that a more perfect management system on scientific research should be developed to overcome those shortcomings by modifying and integrating the old systems.This paper firstly presented and discussed some technology and concepts related to our subject, then put forward a solution of the management system on scientific research, a B/S multi-tiered J2EE Web Application based on and MVC: Adopting B/S multi-tiered software architecture, all tasks can be finished only through the browser. Based on J2EE platform, having perfect transportability and independence of platform to support many popular OS such as Windows, Unix, Linux, and etc. Using MVC pattern to build flexible, reusable and easily maintainable J2EE application. Using XML data exchange technology to meet the demand on data report and data exchange between different database systems. Perfect security system, Using flexible Role-Based Access Control model to build flexible Role-Based Access Control system. Supporting information portal and unified ID authentication, once a user log in. he or she can access any authorized resources. Standard data format, strictly complying with the PRC (People's Republic of China) Standard, Education Standard and data exchange standard, providing standard data interface. Unified user interface, friendly and easy to use No maintain in client, simple installation and maintain in server.Based on the solution, we developed the new scientific research management system of university, which can improve the working efficiency of the managers and scientific researchers greatly, can offer more scientific data for leader's policy and can enhance the level of management and the competitive advantage of the institute. Together with other unit's systems, it services to the "Digitalized campus" construction to advance the process of information construction. At present, the system is under trial run, and reached the effect expected. Moreover, because of its commonality, Jiangxi Province Education Department is ready to generalize it inuniversities of the province.
