With the rapid development of science and technology, especially the development of space technology, control system is more and more strictly requested, and also more and more complicated. Great interest has been put on the security and reliability for system operations and the stability of system is one of the important conditions to operate safely for system. Controllability and observability have close contacts with stability: so long as system is controllable and observable, it can be stable unquestionably. And we know by study, so long as system is controllable and observable at the structure (over the field F(z) of the rational functions in multi-parameters), it is always controllable and observable over the field R of real numbers. While analyzing controllability and observability of system over the field F(z) of the rational functions in multi-parameters, we must use the algebraic criteria. So we have to get its state equations in the first place. The process involves system structure artificial analysis and complicated matrix symbolic operation. The workload is enormous and it is very difficult to guarantee the exactness of the result, so it is very valuable to develop a set of computer-assisted software for founding the state equations and analyzing the correlative properties of system over the field F(z) of the rational functions in multi-parameters.In this paper, software that can found automatically its state equation and analyze automatically its controllability is developed with a kind of most typical systems, RLC electric networks as the research object. Firstly, after analyzing the current study at home and aboard, the importance of the software investigation is explained by introducing the theory of controllability and observability and the rational function system in multi-parameters. Secondly, with introduction of the basic electric network theory and analysis of the normal method for compiling the state equation of RLC electric network, the frame and key technology for system designing and analyzing is proposed, and the program of drawing, editing and analysing for electric network is realized basing on the Object-Oriented method, Visual C++ language and scientific calculation software MATLAB. At last, the operation method of software andsome questions in the process of programming is explained in detail. The accuracy of the software is examined by comparing the craft analysis result with software analysis result.Through the above-mentioned research, the following points have been achieved:(1) The software has very strong capability of transplantation, and can run normally under many kinds of operating systems.(2) The man-machine interface is friendly. The operation is simple and convenient, and the show is ocular and clear.(3) Drawing in the screen accords with the routine habit of drawing electric networks diagram, and the software has very strong ability of fault-tolerant and error- correcting.(4) The main function module is relatively independent, and at the same time they can transfer each other. The application of mode is flexible.(5) For any RLC electric network given, the software can found its state equation over the field F(z) of the rational functions in multi-parameters very swiftly and effectively, and can analyze its controllability automatically. Moreover there is not any additive restriction for its complexity.(6) The software leaves the outside interface, and the further expansion is convenient.
