The classical Pulse-Doppler radar identification is one of the data-base querysystems based on classical radar parameters. Owing to the complicated E-warenvironments, there have been more and more disadvantages in this kind ofidentification system,which takes little effect on lots of sophisticated radars. So it isvery important to research an identification system applied to the specific airbornePulse-Doppler radar. In this thesis, the principle of Pulse-Doppler Radar and its signal features,thetheory of coherence,intra-pulse modulated signals,time-frequency analysis and patternidentification theory are discussed in detail. Too much emphasis has been laid on thephase coherence detection using the arithmetics of auto-correlation in time domain,spectrum analysis in frequency domain and feature extraction of intra-pulse modulatedsignals employing the methods of quadrature in time domain,Short Time FourierTransform,Wigner-Ville Distribution and Radon-Wigner Transform. To analyze andcompare the performance of these arithmetics. This thesis gives the simulation resultsand draws a detailed comparison between them. A modified identification system,which combines Specific Emitter Identification system exploiting Pulse-Doppler radarintra-pulse fine feature with parameters identification is brought forward in the last partof the thesis.
