Research Of Identity Recognition Base On Face Recognition

Identity recognition has been paid more attention to. Face recognition is critical to our high inter-connected information society and it has important theory and appliance value.In this paper, it first introduces the current research, methods and trend on face recognition. Then it respectively discusses face image detection, face feature extraction and the design of classifiers.At first, facial image is converting from RGB to YUV and YIQ color space to extract complexion based on two skin-color models and the candidate facial fields are obtained, Then the candidate facial fields is filtered again to get lip-color information, which can eliminate the skin-like fields and get real facial fields.During the feature extraction, the detected face images are binarized firstly. And then the basal information of the major face feature is obtained by the means of integration projection and general knowledge. Base on the extract plan from the bottom up, the feature positions are located exactly by different means of image processing, such as deformahle templates.In the course of classifiers design, this paper recognizes human face with a minimum distance classifier. The similitude of two face image is calculated out by means of distance formulate, and proper threshold is selected to judge whether the two face images belong to one person.Finally, the experiment results of face recognition are presented and analyzed. The results indicate that the extracted face features are valid and this system is more exact and efficient.
