With the development of the practice on the fieldbus control system, we can see that the cable transmission cannot reach the demand of varied data transmitting and receiving on the industrial fieldbus. The Bluetooth wireless transmission technology, as one of the short-range radio communication technology, can be used in both industrial and office environment. The motivation for this project is the fact that short-range radio communication in factories can reduce the use of cables and are in some case a good alternative to wired connections. When transmitting or receiving data from moving machine part, it is of great advantage to use wireless communication. In the future, machines assembling products might be able to communicate with the product without physical connection during the assembly sequence, performing tests and downloading software to the products.Based on the current development of field control system and the demand for the short range wireless transmission solution, the essay carry out the design of the whole system and make the two different part of physical media of transmission, the wired and the wireless, operating very well together. Second, adapting for the command of reliability and security of the data transmission on the CAN network, the essay talk on the adapting frequency-selection core and make improvement on the original LSH frequency-selection algorithm. By simulating, we can see the improvement in the transferring efficiency using the Link- State-History Algorithm. The essay is arranged as following:At first, the essay introduces the related technology in this essay-Bluetooth wireless technology and fieldbus control system, analyze the protocol stack and profile of the different practical model based on the Bluetooth technology. Based on these, the essay carries out the profile and the practical model for this system and describes the function realized by each protocol in detail.Second, the essay design the Bluetooth AP system in software and hardware, it including the realization of local station (Access Point) on the CAN network and the remote stationwhich communicating with each other by Bluetooth wireless transmission. In this essay, we use Ericsson ROK001 007/1 Bluetooth chip, which includes the whole function of the Radio layer and Link Control layer.Third, the essay set up the CAN network system which consist the part of the wired transmission. We first explain why we choose the CAN network for the system. Then, we begin to design the CAN network. It includes three stations: the monitor, the engineering control equipment and the Bluetooth Access Point station. We build the CAN network and realize the sending and receiving of the data based on this network. Thus, the wired part of the system has been built up and the whole system operates smoothly. At the end of this chapter, we also conclude some back point of the system and give some suggestion of improvement.Last, the Bluetooth short-range radio system calls for a research effort before it can be used effectively in factories. Especially when there are high demands for safety and security performance, most applications in the industry have these demands. Considering the bad condition and the continuous noise existing in the factory, we carry out suggestion of further development of the FH (frequency hopping) algorithm to adapt for the demand of security and reliability of data transmission on the fieldbus. The essay researches the FH core in detail and carries out the improved Link State History algorithm. By simulating the improved LSH algorithm in C language, the result tells us that the mended LSH algorithm has better performance than before.The essay combines the research and practice together. Based on the research conclusion, the essay carries out the practical model and realizes design of the software and hardware of the system in detail. All these work has significance on both theory and practice for the development of Bluetooth short-range radio technology used on the field control system.
