Neighborhood-based Fingerprint Matching Algorithm And Its Application In AFIS

Automated fingerprint identification system (AFIS) is being researched widely because it's convenient, quick and exact in personal verification field. In this paper a fingerprint minutia first-matching method is proposed based on the structural feature of minutia, and we apply neighborhood algorithm to the furthermore point-matching phase. This method can get a good result in AFIS.
