Collimator is a kind of high precision apparatus. The principle is testing tiny by optics imaging. It can be used to revise the kickstand of aircraft and the launch kickstand of missile, to check the gesture of rocket launcher. Along with the developing of technology, the higher precision demand is put forward to collimator. Traditional collimator is influenced by the error of measure principle and artificial factors. It is difficult to make a great progress. So we must search a kind of high precision collimator.CMOS image sensor integrate A/D switch, signal processing, automatic plus control, precision magnify and memory functions in single chip. It reduce complicacy of system. Moreover ,it have high finish product rate, single power supply, low work voltage, low cost and visiting part pixel randomly by programme. Now some parameter capability of CMOS have better than CCD image sensor. So the task of photoeletricity switch is charged with CMOS image sensor. DSP technology brings a revolution in the field of digital signal processing. Along with the improvement of chip speed, every high speed digital signal processing technology becomes more and more convenient, and systemic real time quality comes to be ensured.This paper research the principle of two dimensional collimator system in which the area-array CCD, CPLD circuit and DSP chip are used. Digital acquisition and processing hardware and software were designed. The test result was given. The precision of measuring result have bigger progress than traditional collimator by usingmedium strain, spread center of mass arithmetic . etc.
