Humidity Sensor Testing System

Air humidity is closely related to mankind. People's daily life and producing activities as well as the growth and existence are closely linked with the humidity of environment. With the development of science and technology, the need of humidity sensor is increasing. At present, humidity sensor has been widely used in many fields, such as meteorology, farming and forestry, chemical fiber, textile industry, food industry, electrical household appliances and so on.Of all humidity sensors, polymer capacitance humidity sensor is often used, and has been widely used in scientific research, producing and many other fields. However because of the limitation of manufacturing technology and the wider scattering of characteristic, this sensor's characteristic must be tested and screened in the process of manufacture, which depends on a lot of examining work. Polymer capacitance humidity, which is one of national engineering items of " eight five" , its environmental experiment had been done and failure criterion and failure model had been work out, and the experiment method of screening research according to the low reliability had been done, all of these had reached a rather high level. There is a major limitation for manufacture, all technology and quality indexes which determined the quality performance of the production must be given. Without these the production will not be approved. So far examining work can be done by the precision electric bridge, and data logging and data processing is done by hand, all of these cause the low efficiency of the examining work. So testing work is a big problem that affects the quality of production and the output.The current research topic is one of national engineering items of "nine five". Now a new humidity sensor testing system which has been researched and produced to settle this problem. This system manages to simultaneously test more than 200 humidity sensors and give the capacitance values and Q values, while increasing the test speed, the test precision has reached the same level of precision electric bridge. This system can meet the need of a lot of production tests and offer a effective medium to improve the manufacturing technology of humidity sensor.
