Reflective intensity type modulating fiber optic sensors are simulated and emulated in this project. Firstly, digitizing model of sensing units is established by the methodology of mathematical model. Then, the visual data and simulation results are output by way of matrix space and image transforming. The visualization of fiber optic sensor simulation results is very useful and helpful for the user and designer.Based on the intensity type fiber optic modulation technique, the principle of fiber-optic sensor CAD is mainly discussed in detail. For example, the model of sensing units are founded, the model is digitized, the transformation of space and image is described by four-dimensional matrix, and software is designed. At the last, several typical practical fiber optic sensors' modulating simulation curves and characteristics are analyzed and demonstrated.In summary, a kind of general and simple arithmetic have been founded through the in-depth investigation. The practical fiber optic sensors' CAD software has been designed and finished. With the applying of the CAD software, all kinds of reflective intensity type fiber optic sensors' design and simulation can be realized.
