A system which only uses accelerometers but has not gyro is called Gyroscope Free Strapdown Inertial Navigation System(GFSINS). The research of GFSINS has got more and more recognition owing to its outstanding virtues such as low cost, high reliability, low power , longevity, promote reaction.The central contents.in the paper is: first, we discuss the accelerometer allocation scheme with six accelerometers and nine accelerometers through consulting datum about GFSINS and studying GFSINS deeply. And the angular velocity equations are deducted on the condition of different accelerometer allocation scheme. Second, we estimate the angular velocity error making use of accelerometer's redundance information. System simulation testified this method is feasible. Third, analysis the reason of the system error and how to overcome it.This paper discuss the system capability with different accelerometers precision applying in GFSINS, offer powerful theoretical basis and have real significance and bright future.
