Object Web And It's Application In DSECMS

To develop a distributed system, designing different UI (User Interface) for different kind of users is needed; also solving the problem in accessing remote data or services across the network is needed. Because of the inherent complexity of distributed systems, it is difficult to develop, upgrade or maintain them. Internet / Intranet / Extranet have been popular, and object technologies have been mature and used wdely and deeply in software area. Now web technologies are bound to object technologies so as to be used in enterprise computing area. The integration of web technologies and object technologies is called Object Web. Object Web can solve the problems brought by the complexity of distributed systems.Object Web has the advantages of both web technologies and object technologies. On Object Web platform, web technologies can be used to solve the problem in realizing the UI of distributed systems, and object technologies can be used to analyze, design and implement the domain logics. Based on the Internet / Intranet / Extranet network, Object Web can employ the autonomous resources and systems on the network sufficiently, so as to achieve resources share and computing collaboration in enterprise application.The architecture, object technologies, data exchange technologies and application development methodologies of the Object Web platform are introduced in this article. Client / Server and Browser / Server are the architecture patterns of Object Web. Object technologies are the basis of many web technologies, also are the main means to implement the domain logic on Object Web application. Being one of the object technologies, distributed object technologies trend towards syncretizing with web technologies. Data exchange technologies of web platform are employed, including web page and web database technologies, to accomplish data access by Object Web. Traditional development methods, technologies and tools for distributed systems still can be used on developing Object Web application, however, new characteristics, i.e. Web Engineering and Client/Server Engineering, are presented on the development of Object Web application.Technologies have been making big progress. It is sure that traditional computer monitoring systems will employ new methodologies and technologies. As an example, it is introduced that how Object Web is employed to realize the computer monitoring system on distributed synchronous-electromotors (called DSECMS).
