Virtual imaging space is a virtual space constructed from the real image or video. It doesn't need complex 3-D modeling or high performance computer. Users can browse and immerse in this space. This paper first summarizes the spatial model and implementation of the virtual imaging spaceCylindrical panoramic video is a key part of virtual reality technique which is based on image and video. An implementation method of cylindrical panoramic video with image taken by conic mirror camera is presented. The method is able to display real time image with no dis-tortionatany desired angle. The method of constructing a panorama image with cylinder projection transformation and inverse transition was described. It was concluded from the algorithm that cylinder panorama image could gain from plane images before begining of the graphics simulation process. The algorithm projecting part image of a cylinder panorama surface to a observation conic mirror and the computer processing or inverse processing determines whether or not the system is in real time.
