With the development and prevalence of GIS, the spatial database has become a very active research field in the area of computer science. The design and implementation of a high-level security system have an important significance for the practical application of the spatial database.In the beginning of the thesis, we introduce the security model and critical technique for developing Bl level security spatial database; especially describe the models of Discretionary Access Control and Mandatory Access Control. Then we indicate the deficiency of the comparison of the security label in the practical application, and give the improved rules of security label comparison. With the analysis, we choose the record as the smallest unit of the relational data which has the security label. Establish the set of the audit event for the access control of spatial database. Introduce the basic concept of the component and designate the function components that implement access control.The spatial database can process the henter spatial data, which bring forward a new challenge for the access control of the of the database system. The different data structures of the graphic information make the reading and writing of the security label more complex, and the situation that different data objects own the different methods present new requirement for the information protection. Particularly, the multi-layer storage structure of the object data structure makes the BLP model impractical. To solve that problem, we convert the structure of the object data and carry out the access control on the basis of the method of the object, which realize the access control of the henter data. On the operating system of UNIX, we implement the security component generator for the spatial database, VISTA.The major innovations of this paper are:1. Put forward a control model which meet the demand of the security protection for spatial database and implement the Mandatory Access Control.2. In term of the ideal of component, combine the security component to generate spatial database with a certain security level that fit the demand of the application.3. Improve the rules of comparing the security label, which meet the practical demand of the Access Control for spatial database.
