Now P2P computing mode shows more and more advantage in the Internet. In the future Internet will depend on B/S, C/S copmuting mode and P2P computing mode inevitably. JXTA is an open network computing platform designed for P2P computing. JXME is JXTA for J2ME. J2ME is a developing platform designed for wireless connected limited device. JXME makes mobile peer can access P2P network , communication with other peer and use the resource in the P2P network.Current JXME platform includes three basic classes: Element class% Message class and PeerNetwork class. Current JXME platform implements that mobile peer can join P2P network to operate with other mobile peer and wire peer by Relay service which Relay peer provides. But from the view of the application and development, this platform has two shortages: Firstly this JXME platform's basic class is very complex, so developing application based on this platform is difficulty. Secondly this platform does not support XML document parser. This thesis tries to improve current platform in these sides.This thesis designs and implements system JXME platform supporting parsing XML format document, mainly includes three aspects: Analyze and study the method of parsing XML document in the JXME platform. By analyzing method of parsing XML document in J2ME platform and testing in JXME platform, this thesis induces method of supporting parsing XML format document in JXME platform Design system framework. With the need of system and simple, this thesis designs the framework of JXME platform according to basic function which mobile peer must have. This platform includes seven classes. Every class implements a function. Implement system platform. Based on JXME basic class, this thesis implement extending JXME platform including supporting XML document parser.Finally this thesis provides the testing of system JXME platform. The testing application executes in J2ME Wireless Toolkit simulator. The result of testing prove system JXME platform can provide more systemic and more simple development platform for application. The system JXME platform achive the require of design.
