Study On The Industrialized Product For The Fiber Sensor

Fiber sensor based on optical theory checks some physical status in form of optical signals and converts the status between optical signals and electronic signals with the help of semiconductor, so it can keeps up with the high development of electronic equipment. Otherwise, since the fiber equips with high property such as converting optical signal very well with wide range of frequency, isolating to any electricity, and it is not only used as sensor but also used as transferring wire, it is not necessary to worry about the distance from the measurement equipment to the signal source. So it is especially used as sensor in the circumstance where the electronic sensor is not fit to. The fiber sensor can replace the traditional sensor in many cases, it can also measure some kinds of physical parameter soundly and finish the measurement in the bad circumstance where it is impossible to take on the measurement by way of electronic sensor. Today fiber sensor is widely used in many fields as follows: national defence & war industry, petroleum & chemical industry, traffic & transportation, environment protection, biology & medicine, kinds of measurement, industry automation, electronic appliance and so on. It has been developing with huge attention.The study in the field of fiber sensor in many academies and institutes in China has been developing, and many advanced achievements have been obtained by scientific researching. Although the achievements are advanced enough, they can not been realized product in large scale and not been applied widely due to lack of industrialized research. Up to now the manufacture of fiber sensor is still at initialized degree, mainly depends on handwork in small scale, low efficient, with fluctuated quality, there is no advanced product line for manufacture of fiber sensor.China has paid much attention to this matter mentioned as above, the national project council approved WUTOS Co, ltd. to build the first product lines to lead the way of industrializing of fiber sensor in China. Relying on the central ofstudy & research in fiber of WuHan University of technology, WUTOS will build 5 product lines and make advantage of the advanced technique topping in international, one-up in nation. WUTOS will become the biggest enterprise in manufacturing fiber sensor.It is my luck to take part in the project of building the product lines for industrializing of fiber sensor. I have done some study toward building the product lines for industrializing of fiber sensor and gotten some useful exploration. The study includes some subjects in following:1. the technology routine of the industrialized product line for fiber sensor.2. the technology disposal of the industrialized product line for fiber sensor.3. the equipment fitted to the industrialized product line for fiber sensor.
