| The research project in this thesis is "Study on measurement and control system for vacuum magnetic switchgear based on Intel 80C196KB", which is a continuation project of "Study on measurement and control system for vacuum magnetic swichgear based on PLC" and is sponsored by Education Committee, Science and Technology Committee of Shanxi Province. The reason why this project is put forward is because the cost of PLC measurement and control system is high, and it is not adaptable to large-scale production. The main contents of this project is aimed at solving the key problems of centralized control and integrated protections of high capacity motors used in high yield and efficiency automation coal faces. A novel intelligent combined switchgear measurement and control system is in the thesis developed based on Intel 80C196KB 16-bit Micro-controller . Many protective and monitoring functions are integrated in the system, such as earth-fault monitoring, short circuit protection, over-load protection, phase symmetry and phase loss monitoring, over voltage protection, under voltage protection, motor thermal monitoring and so on. All measuring results, fault states, fault parameters and error messages of four motors controlled by the system are sent to the liquid crystal display(LCD) module via the serial port.First of all, the development history and present situation of magnetic-switchgear are reviewed, the significance and importance to develop the measurement and control system(MCS) of magnetic-switchgear are also introduced. In addition, according to the safety requirements of underground electrical equipment, the fault characteristics and protection principle of asynchronous motors with single speed or double speed used in underground are simultaneously analyzed, the function parameters corresponding to the fault protection for high capacity motors are determined. At the same time, moduleprogram design method and compiled monitoring program and function subprogram are emphatically described. Especially, more attention is paid to the design philosophy, operation principle, hardware block diagram and software flow chart of MCS.From the actual cases of underground electrical distribution networks, the interference sources and features of interference signals in underground environment are discussed. With the exception of this, anti-interference measures by use of hardware and software are taken to eliminate the interference from MCS in this paper.The MCS on Intel 80C196KB, is designed with neo protective theory and signal-sampling circuit consisted of large-scale integrated circuits. All performance and function parameters are all satisfied with the technical requirements proposed by research programme. The performance tests and parameter measurements of MCS is carried out in our labtory. It has been proved by the test that the MCS with its applied program is utilizable, reliable and safety. |
