This article introduces a set of system which used in mould manufacture . The system is an equipment for collecting plane graph border statistic , demonstrating and disposing plane graph boundary data . It includes two parts , the one is a device which can follow the tracks of an arbitrarily curve in a plane , another is the software that can record or compile the output signal which produced by the above device . In order to get data , the plane use the way of comparative between the black line and white line . The device is composed of the pulse producer , system controller , signal processor, logic analyzer , interface circuit and electrical machinery driver . This device could follow the tracks of the plane graphic border automatically. The function of the software use PC-computer to dispose the output signal which is produced by the device as following steps : (1) To input data by parallel interface (2) To record and form a file (3) To demonstrate results step by step (4) The results could be compiled (5) It can synthesis in the permitted error scope , substituted original dot for line or arc , finally we could get a graph that is described by some simply curve . (6) To convert these graph into a program, which used in the cutting process of numerical control. (7) The software also includes some protective methods .Above all , the paper offers the detailed introduction for the hardware system of mould industry and electric spark machining . This article sets forth the thought requirement , the principle of recording , the thought of realizing , the puzzles in designing and the process of adjustment during collecting course , conversion system between light and electron in the track system of optics .The system has proved to be successful and could solve the difficulty-when we dispose unstandand and complex graph by electric numeric langue . It also leads the electric numeric and AutoCAD program to a new scope, which is never involved in the mould industry . The system has significant and applied meaning . It would be shown up in the market in the near future .
