Automatic recognition of modulation signals is a required function of Software-Defined Radio Receiver. The automatic classification of modulation types is being discussed recently and there are so many ways. The digital signal processing technology has become the kernel of wireless digital trans-receiving system. The application of DSP covers the most of telecommunication field, and it will keep on being applied widely and deeply in the future. This dissertation mainly introduces away of automatic recognition of modulation signals based on Decision Theory and brings forward three solutions. We adopt the first solution and discuss how to emulate the recognition algorithm on DSP2549 EVM and the application of Modulation Recognition. The content of this dissertation include:orthogonal transformation of digital signal;mathematic model of modulation signals and Software-Defined Radio Receiver;nine Feature Parameters of the modulation algorithm and threshold of Feature Parameter;development procedure of Modulation Recognition by CCS and the modulation digital signals produced through MATLAB;discussion on sampling speed and instantaneous frequency and analysis of experiment' s result;...
