This paper researches the Fractal theory and suggests that it can be applied in Packing CAD System to stimulate anomalous scenes and draw typical fractal pictures. The paper aims to upholster packing products, to publicize packing merchandises and to defend fake brands.In general, graphics and image software only can copy, cut, delete, compose and art design pictures input computers by digital cameras or scanners. The Fractal theory gets over this flaw and pictures can be drew by pure mathematical methods. Therefore, it offers not only a new design method for packing designers, but also leaves more imaginative and using spaces to express their design aims directly.In virtue of the knowledge related to Fractal Theory, all fractals algorithms in the paper have already been realized on computer, such as Mandelbrot sets, Julia sets, L System and Iterated Function System, etc. and their fractal figures have been drawn. Meanwhile, to obtain a better visual effect and simulate actual natural scene, software adopts the real color and color palette to enrich figures, and color animated cartoon to change them. To show the self-similarity and infinitive tractility of fractal figures, partial zoom has been made on them. In addition, the software also provides several groups of graphic parameters. Very different fractal figure can be created through slightly changing such parameters. Finally, vector graphs drawn can be saved as bitmap files in the computer.The Fractal pictures can be not only view and admire and practicality but also realized a perfect combination between computer and arts when they are applied to packing upholster design and defend packing bands.
