21th century will enter the modem era of digital revolution, digital engineering booming launches in the international community, and communication techniques are the important aspect of the digital engineering to realize, among them digital mobile communication techniques are more outstanding, the development is very quick. We know the signal is transmitted through the channel, so the first step work of the research and the exploiture to the digital transmitting techniques inside the mobile channel is to know the characteristics of itself, they are not only the premise of key techniques of mobile communications, but also the headspring of every variety new techniques of mobile communications.Compared with the other communication channel, mobile channel is the most complicated. In regard to take the land mobile channel, MS(Move Station) is placed the city building cluster or the complicated geography district, its antenna will receive the signals from many paths, plusing the removal of the MS, making the wireless channel between MS and BS(Base Station) become much changing and difficultly controlling, at like this after delivering, the suddenly lower of the signal strength (pointing the strength of electric field or the power), namely so-called multi-path fading, takes place usually, its fading depth can sometimes amount to 40dB, it can worsen seriously the quality of the receives and influence the dependability of the communication systems.In fact, the characteristics of the multipath fading channel in digital cellular mobile communications have become the research of academic analysis and field measure. However, because the complexity of the mobile channel, still have much the treating research. This paper, basing the newest development of the digital mobile communications, and using the method of academic analysis and simulated modeling banded together, talked about the characteristics of multi-path fading channel, forexample: radio wave propagation loss, three selective fast-fadings and wave path-number distribution, and so on, departing seven chapters. The educed conclusions enrich the characteristics of mutipath fading channel.
