Automated Test System of electrical parameters of SSR is a part of defense research project. For the lack of GPIB BUS we research the automated test system on VXI BUS. This project is carried out to manufacture the high-power SSR.This thesis presents its compositon and principle in detail. In this automated test system,computer communicates with instruments through VXI BUS and controls PLC to switch the test circuit through RS-232 serial communication interface. As a consequence,this system can successfully test electrical parameters of solid state relay. Finally,the test result with the standard parameters in the database and oprator print a test report. For the presice of measuring data,this system includes TMS320C54. We use it to measure output current. So we design the interface circuit from DSP to VXI BUS,and we design two special circuits like electric peak value and dv/dt.In software design of this system,we programme with C language in the operating platform of Windows98 and realize transmission of data and command among computer. apparatus and PLC. In design of database we use PowerbuiderT.O and memorize normal and measuring data. Aiming to some electrical parameters like turn-on time and turn-off time which are difficult to be tested we put forward many new test methods and analyze their test course in detail.Finally,we analyze primary disturb and data error in Automated Test System of electrical parameters of SSR. So we put forward some measures of anti-jiamming and methods of handling error. At the same time we advance our opinions for the system of VXI BUS.
